Update Refund Policy September, 2020

Given the current COVID situation, BDMHA has revised its refund policy to protect the interests of the Association, Players and Members.  

Refund of Registration will be calculated as follows: All players U8, U9, U11, U13, U15, U18

Prior to September 28th is 100% of registration costs for payment 1 less the Insurance fee of $50
Prior to November 1st is 100% of registration cost for payment 2
Prior to December 1st is 100% of registration cost for payment 3
Prior to January 1st is 100% of registration cost for payment 4. 

Refunds will not be issued after January 1st. 

Initiation program (U7) and Preschool (U5)

Prior to October 12th is 100% of registration costs for payment 1 less the Insurance fee of $50
Prior to November 1st is 100% of registration cost for payment 2
Prior to December 1st is 100% of registration cost for payment 3
 
Refunds will not be issued after December 1st. 


If at the beginning of the season, BDMHA is not able to provide a team for the registered player, the full registration fee is refundable and the insurance fee will not apply. 

Special circumstances due to COVID-19 and Pandemic Planning for the season

In the event, registration fees have been paid and prior to the start of the season, the programming has materially changed (ie shorter season, shift in game play), the athlete may ask for a full refund without the insurance fee.  Once the season has started, the normal refund policy applies. 

In the event that the season is cancelled through an order of the Ontario Government, Canadian Government, Hockey Canada, OHF, OMHA or any other recognized governing body of the sport, the following refund policy will apply: 

For Players U11 to U18·
         
Season is cancelled before Block 1 (September 28-October 31 a refund of $150 for payment 1 will be issued·         
Season is cancelled before Block 2 November 1-November 28 a refund of $150 for payment 2 will be issued·         
Season is cancelled in December a refund of $100 for payment 3 will be issued·         
Season is cancelled in January a refund of $75 for payment 4 will be issued·         
Season is cancelled in February, no refund will be issued 

For U8 & U9 Players·         

Season is cancelled before Block 1 (September 28-October 31 a refund of $100 for payment 1 will be issued·         
Season is cancelled before Block 2 November 1-November 28 a refund of $100 for payment 2 will be issued·         
Season is cancelled in December a refund of $100 for payment 3 will be issued·         
Season is cancelled in January a refund of $100 for payment 4 will be issued·         
Season is cancelled in February, no refund will be issued 

 For U7 & U5 Players·         

Season is cancelled before Block 1 (September 28-October 31 a refund of $75 for payment 1 will be issued·         
Season is cancelled before Block 2 November 1-November 28 a refund of $50 for payment 2 will be issued·         
Season is cancelled in December a refund of $50 for payment 3 will be issued·         

Season is cancelled in January or February, no refund will be issued
